We run a Memory Box Cafe every Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm at the Community Kitchen, 8 Fore Street, PL12 6JL. Anyone who is living with a mild to moderate cognitive impairment or has been affected by one is welcome to come along for a cup of tea and biscuits and chat to our volunteers.

We also run a Veterans Group every other Saturday from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm at the SHADO Centre, Plougastel Drive.  Anyone who has served in our Armed Forces and National Service and been affected by a mild to moderate cognitive impairment is welcome to join us to rekindle those Service Days.

We bring singing and music to those affected by a mild to moderate cognitive impairment with. 'Do you mind if I sing' which takes place every Wednesday from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm at the Saltash Wesley Church in Callington Road. The aim is to provide music and a singalong for people who enjoy musical participation.

Provide Dementia Friends sessions for local businesses/ organisations, and anyone else who is interested, in order that they have a better understanding of the issues faced by those affected by dementia.

 

There is no charge for the above services, however donations are very welcome to help us to continue to provide them.
